The training is completely online and self-paced, with classes starting daily and up to one year to complete the program. More Through six comprehensive lessons, you'll develop practical skills in reviewing court orders, conducting professional intakes, preparing for visits, maintaining neutrality, recognizing safety concerns, managing high-conflict situations, documenting visits objectively, maintaining professional boundaries, and handling the day-to-day responsibilities of supervised visitation work. Whether you're exploring a meaningful part-time opportunity, adding a professional service, or beginning a new career helping children and families, you'll receive practical training designed to help you move forward with confidence. You'll also receive a Roadmap to Success to help you move from training into practice, including guidance on getting listed with courts and professional referral sources, establishing your supervised visitation services, and beginning to build your business. You won't finish the training wondering, “Now what?” You'll leave with the tools, resources, and direction to take your next professional steps with confidence. How Does Supervised Visitation Work as a Career? The 24-Hour Supervised Visitation Training is completely online and self-paced, so you can begin anytime and work through the course on your own schedule. After each lesson, you'll speak with the Director to recap the material, ask questions and receive clarification before moving forward. Supervised visitation is generally part-time, flexible, self-employed work. Many monitors work approximately 2–10 hours per week, depending on their availability and the clients they choose to accept. Visits are often about two hours long and may take place in age-appropriate community locations such as libraries, bookstores, parks, restaurants, children's activity centers and amusement venues. How Do I Get Clients After Training? This is one of the questions we receive most often. After completing the 24-hour training and obtaining the required background clearance through TrustLine, you can begin establishing yourself as an independent professional monitor. Monitors commonly obtain clients by becoming listed with courts and professional provider directories and by developing referral relationships within their communities. Your training doesn't simply explain what supervised visitation is. We prepare you to actually perform the work. You'll receive practical materials including intake packets, sample documentation and reports, examples of professional correspondence to the court, court-order review guidance, forms and other resources designed to help you establish your professional practice. Our goal is for you to complete the training understanding both how to monitor visits and how to take your next steps toward obtaining clients. Please note: Supervised Visitation Training provides professional training and educational resources. We are not an employment agency and do not assign or guarantee clients. Professional monitors generally operate as self-employed independent providers. How to Become a Supervised Visitation Monitor- MANDATORY QUALIFICATION OF MONITORS: 1. Be at least 21 years old. 2.
